This goofy picture is just meant to illustrate the variety of possible Bolt results.  Striking downwards from the clouds are fairly reasonable looking lighting bolts, created with the Style set to Lighting and Colors set to Flickering Light.  Above the clouds are unnatural objects made with Style set to Fungus, Tentacles, Road Map and Curly Hair, and with Colors set to various choices.  Ordinarily, after Bolts have been applied, they will appear continuously active -- branches and sub-levels might flicker in and out of existence, and colors might shift hues or pulsate along the branches.
