This Liquib Droste picture might be titled Mixed Media.
The original photo showed a pottery piece made by Jan Rowen, with a colorful
abstract oil painting by Aimee Deneweth in the background (only a small portion of
the painting was visible). The GIMP graphics program was used to make
the oval shaped mouth of the pot transparent. The Liquib Droste
Tool detected the transparent region, and automatically calculated initial
values for the Inner Pct and X & Y Center Offsets. The
Adjust/Recreate function was then used to tweak those and other parameters,
like Zoom and X & Y Offsets. (Also see below.)
This peculiar variation was made from the same source image, but with the
Droste Style set to Convolvate. If you follow the pot edge,
you will see that it is continuous and seemingly infinite.
