The
MIDI Options screen allows selection of a
MIDI Device and
definition of
MIDI Mapping Tables. A
MIDI Mapping Table assigns
MIDI Signals (sent from a MIDI Device when keys are pressed, knobs turned, sliders
moved, etc.) to
Liquib Actions. Multiple
MIDI Mapping Files can
be created and saved, making it possible to create customized
Mapping Tables
that might refer to sets of Images, Scripts and Music to be used during art performances.
A MIDI Playing Output Device can be selected to receive MIDI Signals when
the Enable MIDI Playing option is activated. Typically, this might be
the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth, which is included with all versions of Windows.
