A photo of dawn from my front porch provides the background here.  Tiling is enabled with the Center option to create symmetries.  Drops and Bubbles with Colorized Shading were applied in several stages.  Then Stylus Tool strokes were used to stir up the central area.  Actually, the size of the source image used was 2048 by 1536 -- that was scaled down when loaded to fit within the 800 by 600 screen while the effects were applied for this example.  The Upscale function was then used to recreate this same image at the size of the original source image, 2048 by 1536.  That large image was saved and resized to produce the 800 by 600 picture that you see here.  Rendering such a high resolution picture will generally produce noticably cleaner, better quality results.
