The Kaleider Screensaver (and Automatic Effects) can consist of any mixture of Random Effects and Scripted Sequences, from entirely randomly generated to all Scripted.  Relative Frequencies can be set to weight the occurrence of Random Effects and Scripted Sequences.  The types of effects that might be randomly selected can be chosen.  Kaleidoscopes, Mirrors, 3D Mirrors and Funnels tabs allow detailed specification of which varieties of effects within each category should be available for random selection.  Wander can be chosen to apply motion to effects.  The Center option automatically positions patterns to maximize symmetries.  Masking shows rendered patterns overlaid with a static background color or image (perhaps as a Mandala).  Rooms converts the display to a 3D environment.  When Mixture is checked, a random choice is made between standard Tiling and the checked Center, Masking and Rooms options. The Image Source can be set to either the Desktop, the Image Gallery or an Image Directory.  Audio Options can be specified so that Kaleider effects are accompanied by music.
